Jon Zalinski

I am a  United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA)  certified pro and I'm pumped!

Let's work together to improve your game.

I have played tennis for many years and I have coached many sports. I try to mix analogies and biomechanics from many sports to help with my tennis instruction.

My ability to observe your current style and offer specific suggestions for improvements is what sets me apart as a coach.  I pull from my personal experience as a player and a coach which helps me maximize the efficiency of your time with me on the court.

I believe that I can improve your game no matter what level you are playing at.

I have plenty of tennis tips and tricks that will help you break through to the next level.

Testimonials

Heather H - Glenwood Springs, CO - "Jon Zalinski has been pivotal in my love for tennis and progress in the game.  I came to tennis late; I didn't start until I was in my 40's.  I had played a lot of other sports, so my style and form are non-traditional for the most part.  Jon took my strengths and built on them. His coaching and feedback are specific and broken down to actionable steps. He uses analogies that make sense. He is also very positive, encouraging and a lot of fun! He is a great tennis coach, friend and mentor. "

Debbie B - "I love Jon's positive attitude.  No matter what level you are at, he can help you improve your game by explaining not only what you should do but why your are doing it with great analogies.  Most of all Jon will make your game more fun."

Jeanne B - "Jon is an excellent and dedicated coach.  When I started working with Jon, my goal was to improve my forehand and serve.  I improved both areas of my game tremendously in just a few weeks!  He is brilliant at listening, breaking down the strokes, and providing individualized cues and analogies that are easy to recall when playing.  My confidence has greatly improved and tennis is much more fun!  Jon is also great about offering a few tips and tricks with every session.  I always walk away with another tool in my toolbox."

JR - “In June I picked up a tennis racquet for the first time since Junior high school.  My intent was to play a sport that incorporated footwork and hand eye coordination.  Jon started with a blank slate.  After playing with other clinics and players.  The biggest difference I found was the fact that Jon teaches tennis in a way that shows the tricks of the trade.  He is a student of the nuances of the game and is able to relate these skills to players at all levels.  Even this beginner!”

Charlotte E - "Jon is an amazing tennis instructor. I have had several instructors through the years but just couldn’t improve my serve. I started wondering what was wrong with me. Should I just give up this sport? And then chance led me to Jon. His methods of teaching can improve any player. He has an incredibly perceptive eye, breaks down movements into the essential elements, and explains them in easy-to-understand ways by using analogies, familiar movements i.e. beating a rug, … I found myself innately knowing exactly what he was asking me to do so I just did it. I was shocked and exhilarated. If you want to improve your game, schedule a lesson with Jon. You’ll be surprised at the improvement in your game, strategy, and just plain old fun."
